Why We Selected This Wine
The combination of these two powerhouse wines is anything but heavy, not the overpowering sum of the parts that might be expected. Instead, Cabernet Franc & Early Melnik Vine often comes across as lighter and livelier than either component. The result is something a lot of wines claim, but often don’t really deliver: drinkability when young, right after release and the potential to mature in the bottle for several years.
Vinification Philosophy
- The two grape varieties ferment together
- 6 months ageing on the lees in stainless steel

Pairings from Sip ’n Bite
Curated gourmet pairings that highlight the wine's profile and structure — available for takeaway and tasting at Sip ’n Bite

Green cheese
An intense and salty accent that sits well with the fruity and structured red profile and makes the tannins feel soft and velvety. The acidity in the wine refreshes and balances the fats.

Lamb sausage
Highlights the wine’s spice notes and creates a balanced interplay of savoуry and fruit. The fat in the sausage softens the tannins in the wine and gives it a velvety feel.

Snail Truffle pâté
A good choice for a deeper and velvety finish. The citrus and floral notes in the wine contrast the earthy truffle, and the acidity "cuts" the fat in the pâté.
