Why We Selected This Wine

Тhе conditions of its terroir create natural freshness and salinity, balancing Riesling’s innate acidity with a subtle coastal minerality — quite different from the riper, oilier styles of German or Alsatian Riesling.

Vinification Philosophy

  • Lozeto Estate lies between the Tsonevo and Eleshnitsa reservoirs near Varna, in Bulgaria’s Black Sea wine region.
  • This microclimate blends maritime breezes, sun-drenched hillsides, and mineral-rich limestone soil.

Color: The wine has a vivid pale-golden coloуr.
Nose: It displays aromas of green apple, citrus zest, and subtle floral honey, all wrapped in fine oak spice. Typical petrol notes can be sensed, along with an explosion of tropical fruit - pineapple, as well as ripe apricot, honey, nuts, vanilla, and toasted bread.
Palate: The palate offers vibrant acidity intertwined with soft oak tannins and a lingering finish echoing lemon blossom and wet stone — a sophisticated fusion of Old World structure and New World flair. The wine has a rich and long finish, maintaining harmony and a variety of notes until the end.
Serving: 13–15°C
Pairing recommendation
Ideal for pairing with grilled fish, shrimp, or combinations with medium-aged cheeses.

Green cheese
Green cheese
An intense and salty accent that sits well with the fruity and structured red profile and makes the tannins feel soft and velvety. The acidity in the wine refreshes and balances the fats.
Zaara Cow's milk cheese with herbs
Zaara Cow's milk cheese with herbs
The herbal and grassy notes of the wine meet the spices of the yellow cheese and complement and enhance each other. The freshness in the wine "cuts" the fat in the yellow cheese and refreshes the palate.
Snail Truffle pâté
Snail Truffle pâté
A good choice for a deeper and velvety finish. The citrus and floral notes in the wine contrast the earthy truffle, and the acidity "cuts" the fat in the pâté.
