Why We Selected This Wine

The series of wines that includes Kailashki Rubin aims to showcase the pure character of the variety, the local terroir - fertile chernozem soils, rich in minerals and a windy, hilly relief, which contribute to an elegant and at the same time expressive style, characteristic of Northern Bulgaria. The variety was created at the Institute in Pleven by crossing Pamid and Gamay Noir. The wines from it have an intense and rich fruity character, balanced tannins and structure, close to the Rubin variety.

Color: The wine has a medium ruby colour.
Nose: The nose has intense aromas – juicy dark berries, cherry, herbs, an earthy note, and a pleasant ripeness and spiciness stand out.
Palate: On the palate, an explosion of juicy and ripe red and dark fruits, herbal notes and spiciness shape the bouquet. The tannins are ripe, velvety and give sweetness and finish to the wine.
Serving: 14–16°C, decanting for 15 minutes

A perfect combination with grilled red meats, barbecue, burgers, pатес, appetizers.
