Why We Selected This Wine

Wine from an exceptional vintage for Bulgaria and Europe - 2015. The development of the same wine in a 750 ml bottle and a 1.5 l magnum is completely different and has a unique character. Filling magnum bottles is rare and does not happen every vintage. Therefore, this bottle is of valuable collector's value or suitable for celebrating a special occasion.

Vinification Philosophy

  • The grapes are from vineyards near the village of Kolarovo near the town of Harmanli
  • The wine is aged for 24 months in 225 l French oak barrels
  • Then it remains in the bottle for over 12 months before being released to the market.

Color: The wine has an intense ruby ​​colour with brick hues.
Nose: The nose reveals dark fruits, raisins, plum marmalade, leather, spices, tobacco and dark chocolate.
Palate: The palate repeats the tones from the nose, hinted at with elegance, ripe tannins, a full body and a long, expressive finish.
Serving: 14–16°C, decanting for 60 minutes
